Thanks ChinaCat. The physio went well. Visiting again today. Seems that on top of Plantaar Faciitis, Pat is getting shin splints. Treatment is helping though. Advice is short walks with no pack for a few days.
Have faith and take advice from the medics, but don’t push yourself beyond what is sensible or advisable – you may regret it in old age with problems like arthritis, I’ve learnt the hard way. Taking a day or two rest mid way through the Camino seems a sensible thing anyway.
We had a hilarious session today with Davide the physio. Most commumication via google translate, which wasn’t working too well! Fits of laughter all round….
But we are aiming to start walking again tomorrow. An update lesson in stretching and advice to use ibruprofen should help…
You two seem to have found a place of true peace, to rest and find your way forward.
When we tread this Way, with an open heart and spirit, the Camino nurtures us and always gives us what we need – often in the most unexpected ways.
Thank you for the photographs and the lovely video; the plain chant was beautiful.
Buen Camino!

The greatest healer … laughter!
Hi Rob
Dave’s advice sounds pretty sensible.
Good to have those ‘ah’ moments.
Take care..
