It felt great to be back in Spain after 5 years away from the Camino.

I flew from Sydney to Madrid with a very brief (22 hour) stopover in Dubai to do some work meetings. And the trip from Madrid went like clock work. A taxi to Atocha station and a very comfortable train to Seville.

I was at my Hotel in Seville by about 6 pm. Hotel Simon. It’s quite popular with Pilgrims.

That evening I took a walk around near the Hotel and found a nice place for a Tapas snack dinner.

It’s so good to be back for a Camino. And this time the Via de la Plata!
