I arrived in Seville last night, and although very tired, I thought it would be nice to have a walk around and grab a snack before hitting the bed early. I have to say the whole journey has been excellent so far and I’ve been very lucky with all the transfers. I landed in Madrid airport, and actually from the time of stepping out of the aircraft to arriving at Atocha station was one hour, which was amazing. The train journey was great, including the meal. It was a very easy taxi ride once I arrived in Seville to the hotel. The hotel situated on a really cool, old part of the city, very close to the cathedral.
So around the area, there are lots of local cafes and I managed to find a great café just around the corner. I had a wonderful plate of peppers and a tuna and potato salad, which was great, washed down with a glass of local red wine. Then it was off to bed.
Looks good Rob, I hope you are now feeling rested and heading out on the first day of your Camino.
Now on day 3. The legs are slowly getting used to it. Slowly!
