Day 11 – Torremejia to Merida. Today is just a short day of 15 kilometers. The weather is great and the walking was fairly easy. Before I set off for the day though, I’m going to show you around the Albergue that I stayed in to give you an idea of what Albergues are like.  See the video below.

I seem to have recovered from whatever struck me last night, but I’m glad it’s only a short day today.  Followed by a rest day.

Coming into Merida, you’ll see videos of the Roman Bridge and the Temple of Diana and lots of other awesome things to see in Merida. So, Merida might be a day that you want to have an extra rest day to look around.

And confession number 2.  I stayed in a fancy Hotel again.  But for the last time!   I’ll explain why tomorrow.
