What’s the Difference between a Walk and a Pilgrimage?
I pondered this question often whilst walking. And my views changed a bit along the journey. And of course these are just my personal views. My Camino was no better, no more valid than any one else’s! This was just how I saw mine being a Pilgrimage rather than a Walk. But for me it ‘felt’ like a Pilgrimage from the start. I set out with the intention of walking a Pilgrimage, and I think that’s just what I got.

What, another Camino?
I finished my Camino de Santiago about 7 weeks ago. And when I finished, I said that it would be a one-off, never to be repeated event. Mainly because it was so special, everything that I wished for, and so any other repeat performance could only be a poor comparison.

SIM Cards for your Camino
I’ve had a few questions related to SIM cards. So this was my experience based on walking the Camino Frances in 2015 (From St Jean). I pre purchased SIM cards for France and Spain. I didn’t want to wait until hitting the first major town before being able to get a SIM card.
