Part of the joy of walking the Camino de Santiago for me, is spending time alone in nature and meeting all the animals along the way.

Here are a few I met on the Via de la Plata and Camino Invierno.

On the Via de la Plata (VdlP) in particular you have to take extra care, as the path runs through many fields of animals and farm yards.

Always close the gates behind you! If they are left open, leave them open.
