As you get closer to the finish line now Rob, would you say that the weather this year has been more pleasant to walk in than the high temps and sun you had back in 2015, it would certainly suit me better. I guess there’s always a discussion amongst walkers over weather and the best time of year to do the Camino.

Weather is very unpredictable Dave, as you would appreciate.
But I think i prefer the heat to the rain, particularly if using a shade umbrella. They have been a great success. Can’t believe the difference…
It’s not so easy just to stop for a rest and a picnic in the pouring rain…
But we have had evey type of weather. Hot sun, drizzle, pouring rain, hail, mist, winds….
As the ‘old hands’ say, pack for the climate and dress for the weather!
