Camino de Madrid Day 0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Yesterday we arrived in Madrid after about a 30-hour flight.\u00a0<\/span>The flight was Sydney to Singapore to London to Madrid. And we arrived in Madrid on Saturday afternoon and checked into Hostel Delfina.\u00a0<\/span>We’ve spent today, Sunday, recovering from the flight and looking around Madrid.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lots of food, of course, down around the Plaza Mayor and we visited the San Miguel Mercado – the San Miguel market which is always interesting and we bought some essential supplies to start our walk tomorrow which included chorizo and Cameroons. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Now we’re all packed up and ready to go and we’ll start off early tomorrow. And we’ll be posting our post Camino luggage to Santiago before we start s<\/span>o that we’re now down to just our backpacks with all of our gear.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
