Camino Lessons<\/h1>\n

I’ve compiled a list of lessons that I learned during the Camino. The ‘big’ lessons are in bold.<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. If you get a chance to step off the treadmill of life, take it<\/li>\n
  2. What’s really important to me? My top priorities…. (at a really deep level)<\/li>\n
  3. Even small steps taken slowly will help you reach your goal<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Everyone travels at their own pace, pick yours<\/li>\n
  5. Always have flexibility in your plans for the unexpected<\/li>\n
  6. Sometimes what you expected doesn’t eventuate, but even better<\/span> things happen<\/li>\n
  7. Giving to others is much more rewarding than receiving<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n
  8. Never be afraid to ask for help when you need it<\/li>\n
  9. Just because someone looks okay don’t assume they are. They may need help<\/li>\n
  10. Don’t judge people on first impressions<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n
  11. ‘Stuff’ doesn’t matter that much, people do<\/li>\n
  12. You don’t need ‘stuff’ to be happy<\/li>\n
  13. If you are prepared to be open and receptive, cool things happen<\/li>\n
  14. Life is not meant to be a race…..<\/li>\n
  15. Slowing down to walk with a friend in need is far more satisfying than trying to keep up with a friend who is too fast for you<\/li>\n
  16. If your plans ‘go down the toilet’, it might be for a good reason<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n
  17. Positive things happen around you all the time….if you look out for them<\/li>\n
  18. Conversely, if you look for ‘crap’……it has a habit of finding you \ud83d\ude42<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
