{"id":727,"date":"2015-05-10T05:21:55","date_gmt":"2015-05-09T19:21:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/robscamino.com\/?p=727"},"modified":"2018-04-17T09:37:08","modified_gmt":"2018-04-16T23:37:08","slug":"10th-of-may-emotional-overload","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/robscamino.com\/2015\/10th-of-may-emotional-overload\/","title":{"rendered":"10th of May &#8211; Emotional Overload"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Camino Emotions are Running High<\/h1>\n<p>As I was leaving <em><strong>Granon<\/strong><\/em> heading for the next village which I think is\u00a0<em><strong>Redecilla del Camino,\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>the path opened out with a classic<em> Camino<\/em> view with the gravel track passing through green pastures.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-729\" src=\"https:\/\/robscamino.com\/2015\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Looking-back-at-grand-canon.jpg\" alt=\"Looking back at grand canon\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/robscamino.com\/2015\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Looking-back-at-grand-canon.jpg 800w, https:\/\/robscamino.com\/2015\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Looking-back-at-grand-canon-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>Leaving Granon<\/h4>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"width: 100%;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/X_ksnzIbNlo?rel=0&amp;showinfo=0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I remembered that I had the soundtrack from <em>The Way<\/em> on my phone, it seemed like a perfect moment.<\/p>\n<p>I hooked up my headphones and played the soundtrack as I walked in total isolation on this path, with all of the emotions built up so far on my journey coupled with those of the movie.<\/p>\n<p>It was a total <a href=\"https:\/\/robscamino.com\/2015\/the-spiritual-and-emotional\/\" target=\"_blank\">emotional overload<\/a>, but in a fantastic way.<\/p>\n<p>A joyous feeling in every way.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>If I was taken in that moment I would have died a happy man&#8230;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The only thing missing, I thought, whilst the tears rolled down my face, was that Pat, my wife, or one of my kids wasn&#8217;t joining me in this moment.<\/p>\n<p>Camino joy&#8230;&#8230;..<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Walking with Music<\/h4>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"width: 100%;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/faKb_PLoBv4?rel=0&amp;showinfo=0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As I was leaving Granon heading for the next village which I think is Redecilla del Camino, the path opened out with a classic Camino view with the gravel track passing through green pastures.
