We try to chat each day on Skype, and I&#8217;m probably missing her company.<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps it&#8217;s because I was one of the last to leave <a href=\"https:\/\/robscamino.com\/2015\/29th-of-april\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Roncesvalles<\/a> this morning, and so everyone else is ahead of me and I know that <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">no one else<\/span> is coming up behind me.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/robscamino.com\/2015\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/walking-to-Viscarret.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1649\" src=\"https:\/\/robscamino.com\/2015\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/walking-to-Viscarret.jpg\" alt=\"Roncesvalles to Viscarret\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/robscamino.com\/2015\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/walking-to-Viscarret.jpg 640w, https:\/\/robscamino.com\/2015\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/walking-to-Viscarret-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The stop tonight will be interesting. I&#8217;ll be staying at <a href=\"https:\/\/robscamino.com\/2015\/30th-of-april-like-a-caged-lion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Viscarret<\/a>, which is a small village only 12 kilometers from <em><strong>Roncesvalles<\/strong><\/em>. I doubt whether many other pilgrims will be staying there, because most will want to walk at least 20 kilometers a day. I&#8217;m just walking through pastures, the occasional stream crossing the track, I think I really love the mountains much more.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Familiar Faces<\/strong>. &nbsp; Meeting and re meeting people as you walk is a really nice part of the Camino. &nbsp;Leaving Roncesvalles a met very briefly, Mary from Arizona. &nbsp;Like a 30 sec conversation! &nbsp; We met again walking up to Alto del Perdon 5 or 6 days later. &nbsp;And ended up walking together quite a few times.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Also a young couple from the UK I met on Day 1 at Orisson I met over and over for the next 3 weeks.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>You get the idea&#8230;&#8230;.. &nbsp; Many Pilgrims end up walking with their &#8216;Camino Family&#8217; that seems to just happen along the way. &nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today is a very different feeling walking, I wonder why it feels much more lonely.
